It is obvious that Belgrade is ready for dialogue, and Pristina is not – 24sata online

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, stated at the end of her visit to the USA, where she participated in the debate of the UN General Assembly, that she heard in the talks that it was more than obvious that Serbia was ready for dialogue and that it was obvious that Pristina was not.

"I had a lot to say about kovid because Serbia did show its strongest side. It was important for me to emphasize that Serbia has donated more than a million doses, but what was important to me when we talk about Kosovo and Metohija is to tell something about human stories because they are not numbers and not just platitudes that it is difficult to live there and that Kosovo and Metohija remains a territory with the fewest returnees of all post-conflict territories in the world, "Prime Minister Brnabic told RTS.

Brnabić spoke about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija at all meetings, and when asked if there was a backlash, she said that there was.

"And it was mostly better than I expected, but not to give false hopes, and I’ve been in politics long enough to know that one thing can be heard at a meeting and another in practice, but I’ve heard that it’s more than it is obvious that Serbia is ready for dialogue and that it is obvious that Pristina is not. I also heard, and that is important to me because it surprised me, how much they think that the situation has never been more serious and on the verge of conflict. They asked me what could be done – I said – dialogue ", stated the Prime Minister.
